Temporary Access Permits

When there are favourable conditions and risk has been sufficiently reduced, Temporary Access Permits may be authorized so residents, agricultural producers, contractors, and utility providers can complete essential functions.

Individuals may request access to retrieve medication, support dependants, or care for animals. Agricultural access may be approved for livestock care or urgent seasonal work. Contractor and utility access may be approved for operational support, repairs, or emergency-related field work.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Access may be limited, rescinded, or denied if incident conditions change.
